Free Assistance Available To Citizens Advocates

If you're struggling to save your neighborhood or the environment from a poorly planned development project, then we'd like to lend a hand free of charge.  First of all, our advice by phone is always available free to citizen advocates.

Give us a call at 1-800-773-4571

We'll help you assess strategy options.

Additionally, mail us project plans and we'll look them over free of charge for opportunities to resolve harmful effects.  Please include a one- or two-page letter describing your concerns, what you'd like to accomplish, and any imminent deadlines.

After doing a quick, initial review of the plans, we can then hold a conference call with you and your allies to share our thoughts on strategy options.  Again, there will not be any charge for this review or the conference by phone.  To let us know the plans are coming, contact CEDS at: 1-800-773-4571 or info@ceds.org.

Finally, you can download our free 280-page book, How To Win Land Development Issues, which was written by CEDS president Richard Klein.  But if time is short and a proposed development project poses a serious threat to your quality of life, then consider hiring CEDS to conduct a quick, low-cost initial strategy analysis.

Quality of Life Growth Management
CEDS believes that development should preserve quality of life for both existing and future residents. Whenever possible, a project should also be designed to improve existing quality of life. Both goals can be achieved through Quality of Life Growth Management (QLGM), a new approach to land use planning developed by CEDS. For further detail and to determine how a proposed development project may impact quality of life for you and your neighbors click on the following link: Quality of Life Growth Management.
